Why join WSCB? Although many of our events are open to the public, we encourage you to become an official member of our chapter! There are numerous benefits to membership, including:
- Networking with other conservation professionals and students
- Attending outings, lectures, and other local events
- Participation in professional development seminars and job fairs
- Joining or starting chapter committees
- Voting in our annual Board of Directors election
At this time, we do not charge membership dues. However, if you would like to run for office or vote in WSCB elections, you must become a voting member. Voting members are current members of SCB global. To be a non-voting member of WSCB, you do not need to have membership in SCB global–but we encourage our members to consider joining.
